What was once a peaceful spring tradition has now What was once a peaceful spring tradition has now become a warning sign. Near Mount Fuji, the cherry blossom festival in Fujiyoshida has been cancelled after years of overwhelming tourist crowds. Residents complained of constant traffic, littered streets, noise, and daily life being pushed aside for photos and reels.
