As far as good weekends go, this is the best to come.
SulaFest 2019 is hitting the festival circuit in a few days, 2nd and 3rd Feb to be precise, and we’re more than kicked about returning to our favourite vineyard for a dose of music, food, drinks and tons of merry-making activities. Racing up to its 12th edition, we’re going to give you a quick tour around what you might miss out on if you don’t make it to SulaFest this year:
1) Headliners That Cater To Varied Musical Tastes
Shankar Mahadevan, one of India’s most beloved artists, will be headlining the festival along with JUNGLE, an English modern soul musical collective based in London, who will also be marking their Indian debut. Vivian a.k.a. DIVINE, award-winning rapper and hip-hop artist from Mumbai, will be a prime attraction at the fest. And *drumroll* Welsh DJ and producer Sasha will be headlining the Atmasphere Stage. Now that’s a lot to be excited for.
2) The Atmasphere Stage Is Going To Be One Big Party
If it’s party on your mind, then don’t miss out on all the beats that will command the crowd at the Atmasphere stage. As mentioned earlier, Welsh DJ and producer Sasha will be headlining the stage. For all those who don’t know, he’s a DJ Mag #1 DJ, 4-time International Music Awards winner, 4-time DJ Awards winner, and Grammy Award nominee. You absolutely cannot miss his set. Other artists taking over the stage over the two-day fest include globally-renowned DJs like Juliet Fox (Germany), Oona Dahl (USA), Nikhil Chinapa (India), Ankytrixxx (India) and Sashanti (Russia).
3) Gully Boy DIVINE Shows You Why He’s An Inspiration
Everybody is gearing up for the most awaited movie of the year – Gully Boy. But we’ve been witnessing the magic of OG Gully Boy – Divine – for a couple of years now. From lighting up the underground rap scene to getting everybody’s attention with “Mere Gully Main”, his collaboration with Naezy that went viral, he’s the name to look out for in the Indian circuit. You’ve watched Ranveer Singh kill it on screen, now watch Divine kill it on stage.
4) Assortment Of Beverages To Suit Your Fancy
Wine is not the only beverage that you can look forward to at the festival. Sula Vineyards is also a leading wine and spirits importer, with Sula Selections, a portfolio of prestigious brands like Remy Cointreau, Beluga vodka, Hardys, Trapiche, Cono Sur, and Asahi beer. So, you can be rest assured that the pouring partners of the festival – Monkey Shoulder, Budweiser, Asahi Beer and Beluga Noble Russian Vodka – will be refuelling your cups. Cheers!
5) Camping Under The Silent Stars To Detox
Lets Camp Out is also heading back to SulaFest to curate the breath-taking SulaFest Tent City. You can book a spot for yourself and enjoy the SulaFest vibe for the entirety of 48 hours. The weather will be just right to enjoy some serene acoustic music by talented artists by the bonfire under the open sky. Book your place at the SulaFest Tent City right here.
6) Bumble’s HIVE Lounge And Grape Stomping Zone For Some R&R
SulaFest has partnered with some really exciting brands to curate an assortment of experiences, each bringing something special to the fest. Like, the ‘Bumble Hive Lounge’ is a great place to rest your tired feet and chat up with fellow festival goers. Or you can just jump right into the ‘Bumble Grape Stomping Zone’. We can all agree that’s the bit we love the most about vineyards.
7) Wine And Chocolate Pairing At The Brookside By Hershey’s Zone
Brookside by Hershey’s is partnering with SulaFest for the third year in a row as their associate sponsors. Which means that you get to pair your favourite wine with delicious chocolates at the Brookside by Hershey’s zone. If you didn’t know what a delightful combination chocolate and wine can make, then you’re about to find out.
