Have you become a SulaFest veteran yet? Then it’s about time you do.
Yes, it’s that time of the year again when spring is setting in and velvety wine is gently flowing down our throats. India’s beloved winery – Sula Vineyard – is hosting its 12th edition on the 2nd and 3rd of February, 2019, and from the looks of what we’re going to detail out for you, it’s going to be a very promising edition.
Set against the most picturesque backdrop, SulaFest is going to be a two-day extravaganza of heady world music, gourmet food, wine and spirits from across the globe and much, much more. I mean, there is a reason why it’s called India’s best loved boutique live music festival. Also, SulaFest’19 has partnered with Panzani as their Title sponsor and welcomes back Brookside by Hershey’s for the third year in a row as their associate sponsors along with Living Foodz.

Music is hot property on this property
This might sound mind-boggling, but there are over a 100 artists who are expected to take the stages at the festival. We’re not kidding. You are going to be treated to eclectic music from international and Indian artists, some of who will also make their country debut at the fest. JUNGLE, an English modern soul musical collective based in London, Bollywood music icon Shankar Mahadevan and hip-hop megastar Divine are the top names in the roster. Israeli groove collective Lucille Crew, gypsy group Hallouminati from the U.K., reggae outfit Forelock & Arawak, Austrian rockers Mother’s Cake, Mumbai’s live electronica acts – Paraphoniks and Nothing Anonymous, electro hip-hop artist MALFNKTION, DJs Juilet Fox(Germany), Oona Dahl(USA), Nikhil Chinapa(India), Ankytrixxx(India), DJ Sasha (UK), and Sashanti(Russia); you can look forward to them all.
You cannot get enough of the F&B
SulaFest is all about the complete festival experience. Which is why food and drinks play a big role in keeping spirits up. Take your pick from India’s favourite wines from Sula along with wines and spirits from around the world. And once you’re done fueling up on liquids, you can head to 20 handpicked stalls serving up delicious grub that will perfectly complement the music and the booze. Two days are more that enough to try them all out, and we’re sure you’ll be tempted to.
Activities to keep you on your feet
What do you do when you’re not eating, drinking or listening to your favourite artist on stage (tough chance, right)? Well, SulaFest has taken care of that as well. The SulaFest Bazaar promises to be a shopper’s delight with fun and quirky items for sale. You will find yourself buying a handful of goodies for sure. As it’s grape harvest season, you can do your bit for the wine community by partaking in some good ole grape stomping. Oh, did we mention that wine enthusiasts can sign up for special wine tour and tastings?
A chill session under the chilly night sky
If you have booked your place at the SulaFest Tent City by LetsCampOut (book here), then you have three long and memorable nights ahead of you. Every night after the festival, SulaFest Tent City will host acoustic music by artists who will hit the right notes to complement the chilly starry night. You can warm up by the cozy bonfire and sip on wine to stay toasty. Sounds tempting, doesn’t it?
