Will Ranveer Singh Be Coldplay’s Opening Act?

With rumours about Coldplay’s tickets, Jay Z’s performance and Arijit Singh to share the stage, we’re already waiting for what will actually take place at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai on November 19th. But for now, we have another piece of jaw-drop info.

Bollywood mega star Ranveer Singh is rumoured to perform as an opening act for the British band at the six hour festival taking place in November. Sources say that the actor is at the top of the list alongside a number of Indian performers at the festival including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and many more. We don’t know how to feel about this but we know for sure that his level of enthusiasm will surely be a hit at the show.

The Global Citizen Organisation is setting up the concert here in India and all over the world to raise awareness against the increasing issue of poverty. They have been setting up concerts with will have live performances as well as short films. This is the first time the event will be taking place in India and we are definitely looking forward to seeing this effort to bring a change.
