A bunch of American 7th graders standing in front of you would seem pretty insignificant, but Malcolm, Jarad and Alec are different. These guys, collectively known as Unlocking The Truth, have opened for Metallica and are the youngest act to have ever performed on a Coachella stage, and now they’re getting a documentary of their own.

Called Breaking A Monster, it’ll depict the young trio’s journey till now, and also talk about their manager (who’s 70) and how he’s landing them a record deal of $1.8 million. The trailer was recently released, and you can take a look at it here.

They performed at Coachella back in 2014, becoming the youngest act to grace the hallowed stage in the process. Coming a long, long way from their street performances, Unlocking The Truth has performed at the Vans Warped Tour, Bonnaroo, SXSW, Afropunk and Heavy Montreal, and featured on Rolling Stone, HuffPost and many other renowned publications.

Here’s a video of just how mad an UTT concert can get. This was their Coachella set.

We wish them the very best!
