Adding to the growing competition between broadcasters, the famous Ultra Music Festival has now announced live streaming gaming portal, Twitch as its, this year’s, official broadcasting partner, a change from their last year’s streamer, YouTube.

Festival streaming is a growingly popular idea among festival fans who fail to manage the tickets of their favourite festival on time, and can instead catch it live on the broadcasting provider. With smartphone use on an all time high, tuning in to your favourite festival being streamed live has never been easier. While YouTube was the unchallenged market leader for a long time, other platforms like Meerkat, which streamed the recently concluded SXSW festival, Twitch, YouNow and Periscope, that has been acquired by Twitter have helped up the competition by a mile.

With three days to go for UMF, areΒ you going to be tuning in to Twitch to catch itΒ live?
