Hold your breath.. The Bloody Beetroots and Knife Party will headline the second edition of the Smirnoff Experience this year.
After blowing Bangalore audiences away last year with dubstep icons Nero and Rusko, the Smirnoff Experience is back with two blistering headliners already locked down for the April 17 event. Curated by Sunburn, Electro masterminds The Bloody Beetroots and Knife Party will headline the festival along with Sandunes, DJ SA, Dualist Inquiry and Kris Correya.
Bob Cornelius Rifo prefers the synthesizer to the electric guitar and wears a black comic-book-hero mask at his gigs. The music he produces as The Bloody Beetroots is punk for the new millennium. It’s energetic, you can dance to it and it’s heavier than most rock songs. In 2009, the Italian scored his first hit with the track Warp 1.9 alongside Steve Aoki and their fan following has just gone upwards ever since. Knife Party, on the other hand, have already had a glimpse at India’s electronic music fanaticism as they headlined the recent Sunburn Goa edition in December.
The sumptuous headline acts will be supported by some of India’s finest – Sandunes, DJ SA, Dualist Inquiry and Kris Correya, which makes this particular festival absolutely unmissable.
Mumbai, hold on to your seats and stay tuned to The Sherp for further details. Tickets will be available tomorrow HERE.
