Dolores led The Cranberries to super-stardom in the 90’s with timeless singles like ‘Zombie’ and ‘Linger’.

Irish singer and lead of Irish rock band, The Cranberries, Dolores O’Riordan passed away yesterday morning in a London hotel. The death is quite sudden and the cause of death remains unknown at the moment. A statement by her publicist revealed that the singer was in London for a short recording session and no further details were available at the time.

Dolores’ fellow band members, Noel, Mike, and Fergal, paid homage to the lost talent and their close friend through a public message:

Dolores O’Riordan was a talent unlike any other and possessed a voice that revolutionized the rock sounds of her era. Aged just 46, her legend will live on forever.
