If his “Obama Out” mic-drop speech wasn’t a testament to his swag, then this will make you flip.

The White House is set to host a one-day festival on October 3rd called South by South Lawn. You guessed it; the festival is going to be produced in collaboration with South by Southwest. No specific artists have been named yet, but it doesn’t take rocket science to figure that the who’s who in the music business will make their presence felt.

Just like the real SXSW, South by South Lawn will also include film and interactive portions. Entry will be based on a nomination process. Specifically, the White House is looking for individuals who have a positive impact on their community.

It doesn’t come as a surprise that Obama could host his own music festival considering his reputation of befriending big names in the music biz. After all, he called upon Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monáe to perform at his Fourth of July BBQ and was spotted partying with Kendrick, Jay Z, and Beyoncé at his 55th birthday party.

We hope once his term ends, he can throw a party open for the rest of us.

We all want to be cool, just like you big O!
