The 34 year old rapper is definitely paying it forward!
The Trinidadian-born artist put up the sweetest Instagram post over the weekend. The ‘Anaconda’ singer has been contributing funds to an Indian village since the last few years! Thanks to her generosity, villagers now have access to a computer center, a tailoring institute, a reading program, two water wells, and a lot more!
The American singer songwriter is quite the giver! The post comes a week after paying off college loans and tuition for some of her fans. She revealed more of her philanthropic efforts via social media!
She posted a video on her Instagram page that shows a man expressing thanks for the new fresh-water well his village received. According to the post, she’s been helping this village in India build infrastructure through her donations via Pastor Lydia Sloley for over a year and is now extremely proud of the progress they are making.
“We complain about the most ridiculous little things when some people don’t even have clean water. Blessings to India. Our work is far from done.”
She promised to reveal more about the charity work in case anyone would like to join her. Her kindness is already paying off.
She also posted a picture of a few Indian women sitting on a floor in saris and suits, while her picture was shown on screen. The village requested for places of worship, technology and reading.
