Β Ice Cube just said, he’s working on bringing N.W.A back together for an unforgettable Coachella 2016 performance.

2016 seems to be the year of reunions at Coachella with Guns N’ Roses and LCD Soundsystem both set to headline. AmidstΒ the great excitement this has obviously caused for fans, there might be another reason to rejoice. Ice Cube who is scheduled to perform the same day as GNR, just gave an interview on American TV show,Β The Talk,Β in which he said :
β€œI’ve got some tricks up my sleeves … I’m gonna try to bring the members of N.W.A. together. Give everybody a little history lesson on Ice Cube and N.W.A., West Side Connection, everything I’ve been doing over the years.”

The rap supergroup N.W.A. (Niggaz Wit Attitudes) was one of the earliest (1986-1991) and most significant popularisers of the Gangsta Rap and West Coast hip-hop sub-genres who are widely considered a seminal group in the history of hip-hop and rap.

Ice Cube also mentioned his set would includeΒ β€œsome great visuals.” Could potentially mean a Tupac-esque hologram appearance of the late rapper Eazy-E? With N.W.A. on its way to get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 8, this might be the perfect time for the posse to get back on stage together after 20 long years. Though Dr. Dre hasn’t performed with N.W.A. in a while, Ice Cube did perform withΒ DJ Yella and MC Ren at the BET Experience last year prior to the release of Straight Outta Compton.
