There were stars galore at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival 2016.

Last weekend,ย The Meadows Music and Arts Festival had a two-day event at Citi Field in Queens NY.ย The festival, with its inaugural debut at NYC, was full of artists whoย made sure their fans had a fabulous time at the venue. The fans were treated to performances fromย variousย artists likeย ofย Kanye West, Damian Marley, J. Cole, Chance the Rapper, Pusha T,ย and many others.

Here is a glimpse of what took place there:

Kanye West started his set almost 30 minutes late andย had to leave early as there was a threat where his wife Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint. He gave the fans an unforgettable performance whileย he was on onstage; it was a depiction of his Saint Pablo tour in a festive mood.

J. Cole,ย who cameย in as a replacementย after the last moment cancellation of the Weekend,ย had a silent moment during his performance where he asked the audience, “Is Brooklyn in the house? I’m comfortable with that number of people from Brooklyn,” he continued, almost in parody of the way this usually works. “I feel confident that for the first time in my life when I say, ‘Where the fuck is Queens at?!”. This is where the audience came up with a roar.

Chance the Rapper,ย
was previously just joined by his cohort Nico Segal on trumpet until a cast of puppets helped guide the show in different directions.

Twin Shadow also came up with a great cover of Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’ as a tribute to what he had given us during his golden days.

Kygo had a great audience as well at his performance where they danced and hopped to his tunes.

The Meadows Music and Arts Festival had a blast with their two day show at their NYC inaugural. Though there were ups and downs, they pulled it off in the best way possible.
