The breakout 90’s star Shaggy is backΒ in India this month!Β
Shaggy was a household name back in the 90’s when he came out with multiple chart busters like “Bombastic”, “It Wasn’t Me” and “Angel”. Shaggy has been labelled ‘the biggest crossover success in dance hall reggae‘ and also the genre’s most successful artist. Over the years, he has been nominated for 5 Grammys and also boasts of having three albums that went platinum!
Orville Burrell (Shaggy) enlisted himself in the US military when he was a teenager. Once he was done serving his country, he decided to embark on a musical journey. In 2000 he released his first album ‘Hot Shot’ which went 6x Platinum! After that he earned the nick name of Shaggy from the “Scooby Doo” character. After that there was no looking back for him!
Now, Shaggy is venturingΒ into India to do a three city tour! The tour sees him cover Mumbai, Pune and Goa in October. You can check out his dates below!Β
