Facebook going all the way in with even aspiring to change the flagship name to Meta to stake the claim.
Meanwhile, the battle royale shooting game, Fortnite might be the already established Metaverse we all have been looking for. The most important thing about Fortnite is how they always manage to retain the players every time they visit the platform with different events running all over the year. The developers keep on growing and evolving the platform as they allow the users to hang out and have fun with the upcoming new updates.Β
Fortnite is basically a survivor series, with as many as 100 of the players battling it out in a map, the last man standing to win the game. Epic Games first came up with Fortnite back in 2017.Β
Ever since the release, the platform has seen up to as many as 350 million registrations and approx 15 million of which log in at the same time.
One of the key features of Metaverse is that you can interact with your loved ones from anywhere in the world. Similarly, Fortnite lets the user interact with anyone in the world. During the lockdown, many of us found an escape in the form of Fortnite where we could chat and hang out with friends or family. Fortnite even allows you to buy different skins with the in-game money, reminds me of Metaverse.Β
