The American-Indian Rapper catches the attention of MTV and Meghan Trainor!

Raja Kumari’s single ‘City Slums’ featuring DIVINE has been labeled as the official anthem of the streets and is also becoming the anthem for dance crews across India. With over 100 covers by leading dance crews, including Gaurav & Chandni, Dance Crew, Famous Crew, High on Dance and more, it comes as no surprise that the Indian Rap Goddess is making global headlines too. Now, the rap star is nominated for an MTV EMA for Best Indian Act, and is garnering support and attention from her star-studded friends!

Grammy winner and personal friend of Raja Kumari, Meghan Trainor took to Twitter to show her support and love for the rapper, saying “There are just 12 days left for fans to vote for @therajakumari for MTV EMA’s!! Go vote!!”

Raja Kumari tweeted about the same, saying “Meghan is a good friend of mine and has always been so supportive. It’s really sweet of her to get on Twitter and ask her fans to vote for me. I am really thrilled  on the EMA’s, fingers crossed!”
