The band is finally revealing the long-awaited material and we can hardly contain ourselves!
After what seems like centuries of teasers and updates to their mythology, Gorillaz shocked fans worldwide by announcing their new album Humanz, late last night!
Damon Albarn andΒ Jamie Hewlett also revealed the album cover along with the entire tracklist which includes a number of collaborations with artists likeΒ Vince Staples, De La Soul, Grace Jones, Mavis Staples, Danny Brown, Popcaan, Jehnny Beth, and Noel Gallagher! Check out the art below:
In addition to this huge reveal, the band also released four tracks off the album via British radio and the visuals are nothing less than effing incredible. The tracks titledΒ “Saturnz Barz”, “Weβve Got The Power”, “Andromeda” and “Ascension” are all on YouTube now so you better go and check them out ASAP!
It has also been revealed that actorΒ Ben Mendelsohn will be narrating all the interludes on the album!Β We”ll have to wait till the 28th of April to get our hands on this beauty but in the meantime, take a look atΒ the tracklist here:
