Finding food that is easy on your pockets is a true challenge at most music festivals. Noting this widely faced problem, Glastonbury came up with the amazing ‘Food For A Fiver’ concept last year and it’s making a comeback at the 2016 edition.Β About 300 traders will takeΒ part in this programme with Β£5 options likeΒ a breakfast roll and a drink, a Β£5 main course or maybe a meal deal of two coffee and two cakes. Participating traders will display a Food for a Fiver sticker and information on their menu board.

The festival will have a total of over 500 food traders offering an array of exciting eats like Mexican, Thai, Italian, Indian, Caribbean, Turkish cusines or pie and mash, a burger or a good old fashioned bacon sandwich. There are also a large number of vegetarian and vegan stalls and specific dietary requirements can be catered for by a number of traders.

2016 is also the tenth year of the Festival’s Green Traders Awards and this year organisersΒ will be giving a People’s Choice Award to reward the trader that people vote the most for.
