The duo smoked out their unharmonious thoughts on Lady Gaga’s newest single “Perfect Illusion.”

Unarguably The Chainsmokers are one of the colossal names in music industry right now, and they’re quickly learning that what you say in interviews may come back to munch you.

Recently, in an interview with Rolling Stone, members Alex Pall and Drew Taggart confessed that they disliked the pop star’s exciting single from her album, “Joanne.” In two words, Pall offended Gaga’s fans when he blurted out, “It sucks.” With a more poised tone, Taggart, told the music news outlet, “She’s a great artist like, Jeff Koons made a sculpture of her.” Pall, clinched back, saying, “A lot of talented people worked on that song”, and then scrunched his nose in a funny manner.

Although the DJ duo stated their frank opinion, Gaga’s fleet of die-hard fans, or Little Monsters, injected back with the hashtag #TheChainsmokersAreOverParty, which was trending on Twitter.
