This is one of the most unusual stories we’ve come across this week.
In what seemed to be a mistake, organisers of the Newlyn Fish Festival earlier reported that a woman while using a portaloo was mistaken picked up by a forklift truck and transported.
The unidentified woman was not injured by the incident, but most definitely frightened at what seemed to be a mistake on the organiser’s part. Her portaloo was picked up and transferred to the other side of the harbour.
Harbourmaster Rob Parsons on BBC Radio Cornwal said :
“She got in the loo and then it was picked up and taken to the other side of the harbour with her in it.Β I think she was suffering from a bit of shock or she thought she had teleported across to the other side of the harbour.”
Apparently this easy mistake happens more than you think. So next time you’re in a portaloo be mindful about the time you take!
