MTV Bloc Party is just around the corner, folks. And in case your presence there is still under deliberation, The Sherp is here to make that decision significantly easier for you.
Here are five brilliant things about this year’s Bloc Party – apart from the expansive and exceptional collection of musicians – which you not just ought to be looking forward to, but simply cannot afford to miss.
1. The Perfect Sundown Experience

MTV brings to you the ideal Sundown party right around the bloc. (See what we did there?) With a view of the beach, a couple of brewskis and not to mention, tremendously engaging music, this doesn’t seem like a bad way to spend the weekend.
2. The Exclusive Pre-Game Offer

On Saturday, Bloc Party concocted for all its attendees the “pre-game” offer. With two beers at the price of one, these happy party hours (3 to 5pm) deem this particular Sundown party outright irresistible.
3. The Kickass Art Installations
This year MTV has gone all out with their art. Presenting equal parts avat-garde and funky art installations at the venue, BP 2015 will be an aesthetic affair, along with a musical one.
4. Fledgling DJs Get Their Own Stage!

Calling all aspiring DJs and EDM enthusiasts! Bloc Party’s contest allows two winners, with the best mixes, to play at the festival. Click here to know more about the contest. (Think of it this way – you will be on the same lineup as DJ Blend, Bassjackers and Doctor P. You’re welcome.)
5. The Afterparties

What’s a party without an afterparty? Featuring artists like Algorhythm, Ash Roy, Nawed Khan, Lost Stories and more, MTV’s afterparties are guaranteed to be borderline legendary. Hosted at three different venues – Villa69, Gadda Da Vida and Harry’s, bar hopping is mandatory. Keep tabs on their Facebook Page for more info.
