An aspiring DJ from Jammu waves the Indian flag on the mainstage at Ultra Music Festival 2015.
Shiv Magotra, stagename Shivv, is a 19-year-old Dj/producer from Jammu. After being recruited by labels such as Dale Recordings, Nightline Records and Golden Panther Records last year, Shivv found himself at UMF on the mainstage with DJ Mykris, introducing their new mashup called “My Summer“.

That’s when our fellow Indian waved the Indian flag at UMF. Why? Well, beats us, but what we can tell you is that this anecdote is one of the many little things that contribute to making India’s presence known in the international EDM scene. We’re a honeycomb of raw and undiscovered musical talent and it seems like it’s about time to let the world know it.
