The festival just completed its 2016 edition and with that, has made its mark as one of the most memorable festival experiences this season.

One Stage. One vibe. One love.

This is what Desert Hearts Festival set in the lush green Warner Springs of California is all about. A quick three-hour ride away from New York, it is all about letting go and revelling in who you truly are. Held from 1 to 4 April in the Los Coyotes Reservation, it attracted its usual crowd of artists, techno-lovers and free souls who were looking to have an unforgettable time. And with a trailer like that, we weren’t wrong to set our expectations way high!

With the promise of good vibes all the way, here is a look at the 2016 edition of the Desert Hearts Spring Festival.

The festival brings together an overwhelming number of people who believe in the childishly simple principle of peace. Every year, they come in from different cities, towns and regions to become one. The festival sees no differences and the only emotion people get high on here is love.

The 4 day festival begins and ends on just one encompassing happy note that extends way after you are back home and into daily life. It believes in ‘House. Techno. Love.’

An adorable shop inside the venue gave the revelers the chance to sport some of the festival-themed goodies.

Lockets, t-shirts, hats and so much more were available for the festival goers to truly immerse themselves in the experience. Staying true to the psychedelic fashion that has been seen here throughout the years, everything available hereΒ was just plain wicked.

The to-die-for festival fashion

We are not really surprised that this year saw some of the craziest outfits. The festival fashion was off the charts this year, from hippie socks to vibrant hair, every individual was in garbs of freedom.

All you need is love

Reviews of the festival do seem to have one common factor. Festival goers gushing about the amount of love they witnessed. It’s everywhere, at Desert Hearts. In the tents, on the stage and in every nook and surprise performance that you can witness. Because that is, after all what the festivalΒ was built on. Love.

The Eco Spirit

The festival is extremely focused on its ecological impact and follows the principal of ‘Leave No Trace’. Festival goers are strictly asked to comply to these ideologies and they are all too happy to give back to nature. The people who come here, actively speak against the despicable pollution of natural resources.

House. Techno. Love.

‘House. Techno. Love.’ describes the music atmosphere of Desert Hearts in three words. The festival celebrates all the music together and united, at its solitary performance stage. The stage itself is a remarkable nucleus, acting as the resting place for all the energy of the festival to converge at. Having leant platforms to some of the most niche underground artists, mainly European, it is what the festival is all about.
