Marvel Shocks Fans At Comic Con With Some Pretty Huge Announcements

We’re talking massive trailers at San Diego Comic Con, people!

Marvel fans everywhere, rejoice. Netflix and Marvel have some pretty exciting stuff lined up for us, a glimpse of which we were lucky enough to catch at the San Diego Comic-Con. Not only did it preview its upcoming superhero show Luke Cage along with the series’ cast and tease an upcoming superhero crossover event, but Marvel also teased another series coming to Netflix, Iron Fist, starring Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones.

So let’s get things into perspective. 

Marvel released a trailer for the new series ‘Iron Fist’. The series will follow Danny Rand, an orphan who becomes a martial artist and seeks revenge on his family’s killers. Here’s the goosebump-inducing trailer!

Also released was a trailer of another new show revolving around Luke Cage, starring Mike Colter, the series follows Cage who was first introduced in “Jessica Jones” and is virtually bulletproof. The series will also star Alfre Woodard, Mahershala Ali, Theo Rossi, Simone Missick, and Frank Whaley who came out on stage to deliver some sneak peeks of the show. And last, but most definitely not the least, they announced The Defenders, a superhero crossover show starring all the awesomeness of Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. And the teaser they released just proves why Marvel is the best at what they do.
