We told you so!
It’s finally here, the announcement all you bass-heads and dance music fanatics have been waiting for. After much speculation, cryptic tweets and deleted tour schedules, it looks like the Diplo-spearheaded Mad Decent Block Party will be taking place in India, next month.
After you let out that ceremonial ‘whoop’, we’ll have you know that the festival will extend to three major Indian cities – Mumbai (Feb 19), Delhi (Feb 20) and Bangalore (Feb 21) and will feature some major bass droppers like Big Gigantic, Giraffage, Gorgon City, Major Lazer, Nucleya, Naezy vs Vivian Divine and so many more that will soon be announced.
We also suspect that Elliphant (who will be touring the sub-continent around the same time) will also soon be added to this incredible roster. I guess, we’ll just have to wait to find out!
Sunburn, just dropped this announcementΒ on their Facebook page, which also stated that the pre-sale tickets for the event will go live tomorrow at 12 pm. So you know the drill, head to BookMyShowΒ to snap up your passes! The event will be co-produced by Sunburn and Oji, who have both previously brought some amazing dance music acts to Indian shores. We can’t wait to see how this will turn out!
