Thereβs a special place in our hearts for musicians who choose to give back. This year, rapper Common held The AHH!! Fest in over the weekend, that aimed at funding a job project that helps tackling the unemployment rates in the city of Chicago. The fest featured an incredible line-up, including Lupe Fiasco, Jennifer Hudson, Common, and was hosted by the super-funny Dave Chapelle.
Guess who showed up for a 16-song special appearance? Yup, no one but Yeezy himself. I guess the biggest rapper in the business right now still has the heart to turn up for a free event, in his beloved home town no less.
This news comes a week after the famous wheelchair incident, where Kanye ‘accidentally’ heckled a fan in a wheelchair to ‘stand up’ at a show in Australia.
Kanye joined Common on stage and delivered some powerful performances with ‘Get em high’ and ‘All of the lights’, that really got the crowd going!
Also, a man in wheelchair was spotted in the crowd. Oh, the irony is just…
