The spectacular lakeside festival attracts thousands of revellers from around the globe; to feature established and up-and-coming African talent next weekend

What started as a small event by an English tourist to pull like-minded music enthusiasts to the beautiful country of Malawi in 2004, is now a full-fledged, start-studded music festival. The Lake Of Stars music festival is the ultimate example of how DIY events are the way to go. This year, the weekend gala will be held on September 26-28. Here are 10 reasons why shouldn’t miss this gathering if you’re heading to the continent.
