Stage 42, OML’s festival of “real world comedy and music performances” is back again with its initial lineup featuring some staple favourites and exciting new faces.
Stage 42 was a raging success last year with over 150 shows held across 7 cities. Β They established their name by bringing bigwigs like Russell Peters and Bill Burr down to India though they faced some speedbumps when their sold out Jerry Seinfeld show had to be cancelled. The sophomore edition is scheduled (currently) to be held from January 23 – February 21. Expanding from last year, the events will be held across 10 cities.
This year’s initial lineup is out and it gives us a peek into what we can expect. We have homegrown acts like AIB and Abish Mathew on the comedy front and Nucleya, Dualist Inquiry, Baba Sehgal and upcoming RapperΒ NaezyΒ covering the music.

Among international acts we have YouTube sensationsΒ Boyce AvenueΒ known for their soulful covers of popular songs and comedian actΒ One Man Breaking Bad, where LA actor Miles AllenΒ hilariously impersonates the characters of the show Breaking Bad.
