Young Thug’s new album will be called PUNK! The announcement wasn’t official; Young Thug was wearing a t-shirt with a rather weird artwork and the word P*unk written all over it. There was also a date there, 10.15.2 to be precise, which, if you look upon a calendar, is this October and a Friday!
Most of the artists drop their music on Friday, and this date matches exactly to a Friday. Apart from that, Young Thug wouldn’t put a random date and the word of his new album on the back of his shirt just for fun; it means something. We could also see the artwork of the album. There is no confirmation of this news officially, but as mentioned earlier, it is pretty clear that Thugger will be dropping a new project!
Young thug to fuse Rock and Hip Hop!
The album name made it pretty clear what Thug is aiming for this time around. The new Young Thug Album is called punk, which is a genre in itself. And we’ve seen the revival of the punk sound in the last couple of years. Especially MGK did a whole album where Punk was the main genre. Many other artists like Tryippie Redd and Playboi Carti have also done a lot to push the boundaries of Punk music in 2021!
YOung Thugs’ new album will probably have a lot of singing and guitar riffs. And just to be clear, Young Thug is a master at creating new sounds; he is the one who popularised the baby voice I rap and literally influenced an entire generation, so if someone is fusing two genres, you won’t find a better candidate than Thug!
