Minecon Live 2021 is just around the corner and just like any other Minecon, this one will also unveil a new update for the game. Not only that, but we’ll also be getting a new mob this year. There was much speculation about the mob vote as nothing was being said, but Minecraft recently released a video that confirmed it. That being said, last year a youtuber known as Dream, ruined the mob vote by asking his stans to vote for a particular mob.
This is really stupid on his part because it totally took away the fun of a mob vote, the community had no say in this. The mobs in the vote were as follows, the Iceolloger, Moobloom, and the glow squid. Now anyone in their right mind would have just voted for their favorite one and moved on, but not Dream. He made his fans vote for the glow squid, which was easily the worst pick, it doesn’t even glow!
Dream has a lot of subscribers and just to gain some clout he ruined the mob vote, and he might do that once again. And even if he doesn’t do that, there are others who got inspired by him. Like Mr Beast, for example, we hope these big YouTubers just keep their mouths shut and let the fans enjoy the event as the world has seen enough misery already.
