To reaffirm summer’s status as the season of waves, beer, music and everything fun under-the-sun, Hangout Music Festival is ready to provide the ultimate experience this weekend!
Along the Gulf Shores in Alabama, the Hangout Beach, Music and Arts Festival gives a wholesome three-day beach music festival experience every year. It’s like spring break, but much, much funner, because the music just elevates the experience to another level. Today, The Sherp lists out all the reasons Hangout Festival should be a part of your weekend plan!
1. The ultimate beach life
‘Nough said. The Gulf Shores in Alabama that overlook the Atlantic Ocean is one of the most clean and picturesque beaches in all of Northern America. The location fits perfectly with the festival which is known for being one of the most successful beach festivals every year! Listening to some awe-incredible music while you watch the sun set on the Gulf horizon. Just the sight your summer eyes need. And with the good dose of craft beer throughout? We’re set.
2. That well-rounded line-up
Hangout doesn’t disappoint with its stars, and we mean it. By packing in a bunch of names that is bound to leave every kind of music lover satisfied, the festival just snatched a good home run even before beginning! Featuring Foo Fighters, Zac Brown Band, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Beck, Major Lazer, Vance Joy, Umphree’s McGee, Foster The People, Tove Lo, Toro Y Moi, Father John Misty and many, many other names, we see no complains. Really.
3. Those fun activities
Hangout, like its name suggests, aims to provide the best possible time you can have at a festival! Which is why their on-musical activities are ridiculously awesome and need to be tried out by one and all. You can play games at ‘Life is Good’ capable of upping you to VIP territory, as well as help kids in need. At ‘Bud Light House Of Whatever’, you can participate in just the most absurd, random, and ‘whatever’ activities you can think of! Actually, don’t think, ‘cause they’re just that fun. What more? You can even have your own festival wedding at The Wedding Chapel. Are you considering already?
4. Environment friendly
After recently researching and writing about environment friendly festivals, any festival that takes an active interest in preservation wins brownie points from us! And on that front, Hangout doesn’t disappoint. Not only does it have four Camelbak Water Refill Stations around the festival arena, where you can refill your bottles and water packs for free multiple times, but it has also employed a shuttle service to the festival! It also actively encourages the attendees to keep the festival clean, and has a reputation of leaving the area clean as new on completion. Good guy Hangout!
