Mumbai based rapper DIVINE dropped new single “Farak” with an accompanying music video yesterday.
Shot by Joel D’souza and DIVINE in the gullies of Mumbai and Goa, the video also features footage from his live performances and trysts with artists that have been a part of his journey, namely – Charlie Sloth, Nucleya, Raja Kumari, DJ Premier and producer Phenom – who delivered the sharp production on the track.
Dedicated to his mother, “Farak” features gritty verses about family and embraces his roots and new found fame; signature to the Gully Gang frontman’s style, serving as a testament to DIVINE’s status as Indian hip-hop’s rising new poster boy.
