The R&B star Usher joined the ‘surprise appearance’ bandwagon this Coachella, when he came out in the middle of a Major Lazer set and performed a tribute to the late great, Prince!
Just surprised Coachella with @MAJORLAZER ??

Usher came out to perform not one, but two Prince songs, namely I Would Die 4 U and 1999. The crowd didn’t expect him to come at all, so this made it a genuine surprise.

Usher making an appearance with Major Lazer at Coachella isn’t surprising at all. His soulful single ‘Climax’ was, after all, produced by Diplo himself.
This year’s Coachella has seen a lot of tributes to the greats Prince and David Bowie. Prince sadly passed away last week, triggering several headliners and side acts to pay their respects on stage this year.
