Ultra has shown the world that it is one of the biggest reigning music festival circuits in the world right now and that they are here to stay!Β
It would be an understatement of grand proportions to say that 2016 has been a mammoth year for Ultra. They concluded an eight event program spanning over 5 cities in just nine days! Over one million people are said to have attended various Ultra events all around the globe this year. Those who weren’t lucky enough to witness the magic live, tuned into the seamless live streams that were available for everyone around the world to see in the comfort of their homes. 165 million individuals tuned in for the live streams. That is MASSIVE!Β
The final leg of Ultra’s World Tour saw them put up some brand new Resistance shows in Paraguay, Peru, Brasil and Chile with the given addition that all the shows were sold out! They even partnered with MTV and made the Ultra Brasil an exclusive standalone event which was broadcast to over 50 million people in 26 countries across the world!
The standalone shows saw almost 15000 people turn up to witness a stellar line-up which comprised of names like Carl Cox,Β Tale Of Us, Nicole Moudaber, Matador, James Zabiela, Steve Lawler and many others. This just went on to show that the organisers were not going to compromise on quality!
We just hope Ultra never slows down and hopefully comes to India soon!Β
