After failing to properly acquire the old-school venue in the Big Apple, the legendary German Techno festival will be moving to a new location
When Germany’s hallowed Time Warp festival announced Kingsbridge Armory in the Bronx as the venue for its US debut on November 28-29, the coup seemed too good to be true. Now plans to hold the techno weekender in the historic venue have been foiled. According to a report in The New York Daily News , Time Warp failed to secure the permits necessary to hold the two-night event.
The planned New York City line-up is headed by some of the Time Warp’s favorite flag-bearers, including Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Dubfire and Dixon, alongside Anthony Parasole, DJ Tennis, No Regular Play and more. Time Warp organizers chose Kingsbridge Armory to complement the atmosphere of their parties in Mannheim, Germany. Check out the entire line-up HERE.

Organisers are currently in pursuit of a new location thats fits the festival profile but this news will come as a huge blow to the East Coast’s techno crowd, who looked set to be treated to one of the strongest post-festival season raves on the calendar.
