The Nepal Inked Convention will take place in Kathmandu this October; aims to promote the tattoo art and culture in the country

Love getting inked? Then you would love to attend Nepal Inked Convention, a special tattoo art and culture convention that is being held in the Himalayan country’s capital, Kathmandu, this October. The main focus of the event, which is an annual affair, is to promote tattoos as an art and a major business venture in Asia, as well as to promote Nepal as a destination for this form of art.

Various tattoo conventions have been successfully organised in Singapore, Malaysia and China, and the art of tattooing and body piercing has become a lucrative business activity of late.

The event aims at erasing the negativity linked with this unique art, and is a superb platform to invite and encourage people from different fields to step into this industry.

With a main exhibition area as well as an outdoor garden, Nepal Inked Convention will also feature various entertainment arenas, information kiosks, travel tour desks, product sales/promotion stalls, food and drinks area etc.

The event takes place October 17 – 19 at the Bhikruti Mandap Park, Exhibition Road, Kathmandu, Central Region, Nepal. Entry to the event is priced at NPR 100, and will be available at the gate itself.
