The Weeknd’s last project was a massive commercial success and probably one of his best albums. The project title ‘After Hours’ was well received by fans and critics alike, making it a great body of work and a project that fans will cherish for years to come. But it has been over a year since the album dropped, and The Weeknd is already towards a new possible release!
The Weeknd announces new album!
Weeknd took to Twitter to let people know about the new music he created and is very proud of. He did this in a series of tweets, as shown below!
As you can see, the tweets indicate a new possible project, which will be even better than After Hours if the tweets are anything to go by.
We also got news regarding his after-hours tour, which was delayed for 18 months and will now start in 2022! This means the Weeknd might drop his album before the tour or drop it after the tour; both outcomes are a possibility.
Regardless of the tweets, if we’re getting a Weeknd album this year, we’ll surely see snippets and singles from The Weeknd!
