Drake’s Certified Lover Boy has been in production for more than a year now, last year Drizzy himself announced that the album would release in the summer of 2020, but he had to push the date forward to January of 2021! But citing some health-related problems, he decided to push it even more further. The date which we got after that was the summer of 2021!
Now that we’re in the summer of 2021, where’s the much anticipated Certified Lover boy release? The summer isn’t over yet, we still have a lot of time remaining, but Drake should’ve already dropped some teaser or snippet hyping up the fans.
Artists didn’t drop their music till the pandemic was over because of obvious reasons. They make their money mostly from touring the country and the world, and the pandemic has made it hard for people to go out to concerts and music festivals. Now that the situation is under control, many artists have already dropped their music which they were sitting on for years now.
Drake might be dropping the album anytime this month or the next; if it gets delayed more than that, then the release date is anyone’s guess.
The last Drake project, Scorpion was a commercial success, but his long-time fans didn’t really enjoy the project. It had 25 songs! Which is a lot considering the type of music Drake makes. We don’t know how many tracks there will be this time around, but we hope the project doesn’t drag for too long!
