Submerge announces yet another artist β Darren Emerson β one of the most influential figures in dance music!
The folks at Submerge are bringing down UK-based DJ, Darren Emerson this September. His 17-year career has seen him work with everyone β from Depeche Mode to Jamie Cullum. Emerson has been a part of numerous million-selling hit albums and singles. He also emerged as a much sought-after remix talent after remixing diverse acts such as The Chemical Brothers and BjΓΆrk.
At 18, he became the third member of the techno band Underworld. In 2000, he parted ways with the band to focus on his individual career as a DJ and remixer and also a label owner of Underwater Records. In 2003, Underwater was voted Label Of The Year by DJ Mag. He launched a new label in 2010 called Detone. Currently, Darren is relentlessly globe-trotting and playing knockout shows around the world!
