The EDM giants and the Grammy-winning duo are all set to take over Indian shores in less than a month and we are super stoked.

The duo will be lighting up the stage at Road To Ultra in Mumbai and Delhi on September 7th and 8th respectively. Adding to all the excitement, it was recently revealed that the producers, Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart, are all set to don Indian outfits as they set the stage on fire. The top designer set to give the stars this desi twist is none other than fashion designer Neeta Lulla.

A source reveals, “The fashion-conscious DJ duo loves Indian prints and traditional motifs. While they will make an appearance on the red carpet wearing Lulla’s designs, they will also sport something indigenous on stage.”

Two different outfits have been designed for the top producers. Lulla says, “I have fused traditional prints and modern cuts for their outfits. The design is fresh and modern, but it also has an Indian touch to it with the earthy and tribal Warli art.”

Lord Ganesha, being a symbol of prosperity and success, is used as a motif in her designs.  “It’s more like a goodwill gesture. The holographic background gives a psychedelic vibe that resonates with dance and music. A lot of electro pop colours have been used. Since The Chainsmokers perform at arenas, it’s important for the colours to stand out,” says the veteran designer.
