With over 60 food stalls – restaurants, caterers, home cooks, pastry chefs, culinary artists and artisans, you name it – coupled with other amazing elements to heighten the experience such as the “Lifestyle Bazaar”, a cultural mini-market encompassing fashion, art and a collaboration of the city’s culture, you’ll be left spoilt for choice at The Bombay Local, this weekend. Here’s a detailed summary of all the good food and drink you can look forward to at India’s premier homegrown food festival!

 

1. Cuisine

ALL KINDS. THAT’S ALL.

From Home Chefs to Live Foodstations the variety of cuisine to try is particularly awesome. If you’re looking for staples like American, Asian, Mexican, Italian and Mediterranean, do check out Between Breads, Desi Deli, Yosai, Mexican Express, Food Gone Mad and Little Food Co. However, the Indian variables will be no less – with region specific delectables ready for you to feast on- be it Sindhi street food by Flavours Of Sindh, Parsi khana by KD’s Kitchen, South Indian thaalis by Poppadum, Bohri delectables by The Bohri Kitchen or Nepalese Sekuwa by Kepchaki Momos.

Light snacks and nibbles like sweet and savoury buns by Hun’s Buns, finger food by Crisps & Dip, and those delicious meat-stuffed pavs by will mos def be a highlight.

Workshops : Want to make the perfect burger at home? Chef Vivek Pawar from Between Breads will be conducting a burger making workshop just for you.

2. Drink 

To wash down all that delicious food, The Bombay Local will feature a 3 sided island bar serving cocktails dispensed from fruits, Do-It-Yourself buckets, pause wines and of course beer on tap courtesy Gateway Brewing Co.

Workshops : For those of you with a flair for bartending,  celebrity bartender Binny of Flaming Trio will be taking a cocktail workshop where you create a signature cocktail that will be served at Bombay Local. Also, lookout for some awesome flash performances by bartenders at the event.

3. Dessert

Treats, treats and more treats. With the variety of scrumptious desserts and bakes at The Bombay Local, we’re hoping your sweet tooth can be satiated. Parfait by The Parfait Co, cakes by Polka Dots Cakes, dessert jars by Crumbs Patisserie, cookies and mousse by Cocoa-Love, macaroons and cupcakes by Sugar Rush and much more.

4. Food and Beverage products
