It was such a huge hit that Spotify officially announced that the song was the most streamed song of all time with 870 million streams! That’s a pretty huge accomplishment. But now their party has come to an end. Spotify has just announced the new king of all time streams. It’s none other than Canadian hip-hop king-Drake! Drake’s ‘One Dance’ is officially now the most streamed song of all time. It has beaten ‘Lean On’ by garnering 880 individual streams over the year 2016!
Drake’s 2016 album ‘Views’ saw the artist climb up charts everywhere around the world. The album, which featured a ton of collaborations from big names in the industry, saw some great songs gain attention. ‘One Dance’ was Drake’s first Billboard Top 100 song since he started making music. The song then recently usurped ‘Lean On’. In addition to this news, Drake also happens to be the the most streamed artist of all time on Spotify with a total of over 8 BILLION individual plays!
