Gear up Ultranauts. This spaceship is about to land in South East Asia.
Ultra Music Festival is going to drive South East Asians into a frenzy by hosting festivals in Singapore, Bali and Manila this September. What started as a headline journey in more developed Asian markets like South Korea and Japan, has quickly expanded to other Asian destinations in a short span of time.
Named after the 1997 Depeche Mode album, Ultra started out in Miami, Florida, United States as early as 1999. Today, it has achieved global recognition as an electronic music festival you can’t afford to miss. By scheduling festivals across the world, Ultranauts are gaining access to their favourite gig without spending extensively on travel.

“We’re proud to be leading the charge in bringing a world-class music festival experience in South East Asia,” stated Alex Chew, the Executive Producer and Partner at ULTRA Singapore. “We’re going to provide an all-encompassing, outdoor, three-stage extravaganza that caters to a diverse global music consumer. Our artist headliners reflect the musical tastes of our consumers, ranging from names such as Kygo, Deadmau5, Axwell ^ Ingrosso and Afrojack.”
Mr. Christian Rijanto, the promoter of Ultra Beach Bali and co-founder of Ismaya Live added, “Ultra Beach Bali will bring contemporary EDM legends like Martin Garrix, Deadmau5 and other musical talent to the ‘Island of Gods’ this year. Our iconic event venue (Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak, Bali) is the perfect location for the type of experience we want to create for the customers who have bought tickets from more than 30 countries this year.”
Bogie de Guia, promoter of Road to Ultra Philippines being held in Manila said, “There is definitely a secular shift in musical tastes across the region and more consumers in Philippines are looking for a branded, world-class live music experience. We’ve seen tremendous success in bringing artists such as Tiesto, Hardwell and Alesso, who will be headlining our event this year.”
