The Greatest Show on Snow returns to Canada for its 2nd edition!
Following the exciting debut edition of the frozen festival, Snowbombing Canada is returning to British Colombia for Round 2! With 4 days and 4 nights of partying amongst the snowy paradise of Sun Peaks in April of 2018, this festival is one you will be sorry to have missed. The announcement of their return for the 2nd year comes hand-in-hand with the list of acts that will be performing, including big names like Cardi B and Odesza on the headlining slots!
The talented Seattle duo Odesza will present an electrifying live show at Snowbombing Canada 2018. Considering that they only began their musical journey five years ago, it is astounding to think that the two have close to a third of a billion plays on Spotify, and are well renowned for their exhilarating live shows over the stadium circuit in recent times. We know one thing for sure- with the addition of Odesza’s electric sound; this will be a show to remember.
First Lady of Hip-Hop and the subject of viral fame, Cardi B will be taking over the second headlining spot in the 2018 edition of the festival. The first female performer to ever hold three singles within the Billboard RnB Top 100, Cardi B is a RnB and Hip-Hop icon. Famously collaborating with the likes of Migos, A$AP Rocky, and Nicki Minaj, Cardi B is sure to bring some heat to the Snowbombing Stage.
Known as the enfant terrible of bass culture and proud to popularize his title as the Man who “ruined dubstep,” Borgore is one of electronic music’s most polarizing artists. The LA-based, Tel Aviv-born producer’s signature style of “gorestep” and his almost maniacal live shows make for an iconic character in today’s bass scene. Get ready for some manic panic in April!
Returning with his signature experimental future bounce, GoldLink will grace the stage at Sun Peaks in 2018. With his unique vocal delivery and pulsating sound, he has quickly risen in the ranks of the hottest stars in the hip-hop scene.
Super Duper Kyle Harvey is known for his sunny style of pop-rapping, whether achieved by looping early nineties one-hit-wonders or rhyming about the mundane. He takes his inspiration from a variety of contrasting talent, the likes of Jadakiss, Will Smith, and Incubus. You can catch California beach boy crowd-surfing over the Snowbombing audience in 2018!
At the mere age of 23, Will Sparks has consolidated his leading position at the forefront of the globally appreciated Melbourne sound. Many of his original productions spent weeks atop the Beatport Top 10 charts, in addition to iconic remixes of global hits like Major Lazer’s ‘Be Together’, Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ and The Chainsmokers’ ‘Selfie’.
These unbelievable acts and others grace a carefully curated roster of unbelievable talent, representing music in all its forms over the snowy slopes. Other names on this fantastic lineup include TroyBoi, Felix Cartal, Gorgon City, Elohim, Matoma, Party Favor, Billy Kenny, Justin Martin, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Nora En Pure and Goldfish (live). With 2017’s impressive lineup being no simple task to beat, Snowbombing Canada has really outdone themselves for the 2018 edition and the avalanche of artists that come with it!
