This year’s festival saw almost 45 nations competing, 30,000 attendees, some brilliant musical acts and culinary delights – all while the bodies of many almost-naked models turned into beautiful and eccentric canvases for the artists at the WBF’15.
The World Bodypainting Festival has come to be known as THE frontrunner in bodypainting all across the world, an art which was unknown until two decades ago. This year’s festival came with a whole bunch of surprises, and vast competitive agendas during the World Bodypainting Championship, live acts by Madcon, Gentlemen, and Johann Sebastian Bass; runway shows, parades, and a body circus – for those fond of the bizarre!
