Radiohead have been announced as the first headlining act for Glastonbury 2017!
Fans have never had a better reason to rejoice and go wild. Brit band Radiohead have been officially confirmed to be the first official headliners for Glastonbuty 2017. The performance will mark the band’s first UK festival appearance in over half-a-decade. The band will take to the stage on June 23 next year at the famed Pyramid Stage at the festival. Tickets for the fest in true Glasto fashion are already sold out.
Fans have been speculating the news about the band being chosen as headliners for a while now. Last week onward, the organizers at Glastonbury have been photoshopping their infamous ‘Bear-logo’ onto the spot where the Pyramid Stage usually stands. Fans quickly picked up the reference and took to Twitter. It wasn’t before long that everyone got whiff of the news that the rumors might actually be true!

There are several other rumors doing the rounds like Daft Punk also being the headliners for the event, but unfortunately that news has been promptly squashed!
Radiohead will be performing in UK almost after 5 years. The last time they played at the festival was back in 2013. One can only imagine the storm they’ll cook up on D-Day!
