Roger Waters, David Gilmour, and Nick Mason to be back in action for a social cause.

Pink Floyd recently announced their reunion on their official Facebook page. With the band’s vigilance for the Israeli atrocities, they stand united in support of the Woman of  The Gaza Freedom Flotilla.

The Women’s Boat to Gaza is a group of women from around the world who boarded a boat in Barcelona last month and headed for Gaza, with the goal of bringing attention to Israel’s naval blockade of the Gaza Strip, which has been in place since 2007. It’s a campaign sponsored by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, which describes itself as “a grassroots people-to-people solidarity movement composed of campaigns and initiatives from all over the world working together to end the siege of Gaza.” Earlier this week, the Israeli Navy intercepted the Women’s Boat. Thirteen activists, including Northern Irish Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mairead Maguire, were aboard the intercepted ship.

The released a statement on their official Facebook page.  It is unclear if the reunion is for anything other than the statement, however.

Roger Waters, who is sternly against these atrocities and in support for the rights of the Palestinians, has released a video regarding the same.

We’re glad they have united and for such a great cause. We wish them all the best for their endeavours.
