MTV just unveiled their formidable lineup for this yearโs Bloc Party and itโs safe to say that weโre uber-stoked! MTV brings us a bevy of crackling musicians, from some of the most incredible international acts to the understated brilliance of the electronic/hip-hop/bass scene in India.
This edition of Bloc Party features the eccentric and exuberant DJ BL3ND, whose music style, true to his stage name, blends genres. Recognized for his unforgettable mixes, DJ Blend ย is bringing his edgy music and enigmatic stage presence to India. Here are some of his giddy beats to gear you up.
Accompanying Blend is the L.A. duo Bassjackers, with their heady amalgamation of heavy electro house and experimental bass, we’re in a perpetual state of anticipation for their set at Bloc Party. Listen to some of their stuff if you are too.
English dubstep ace Doctor P has just been added to the already stellar line-up.
Where are our resident electronic veterans, you ask? Fret not, BP 2015 also features the ever-adored Nucleya, Su Real, Lost Stories, Ox7gen, Reggae Rajahs, SickFlipย and virtuoso others mentioned above. With an array of insane homegrown musicians already in their schedule, weโd say so far so great. The party is to hit Mumbai on the 11th and 12th of April.
