Mumbai’s homegrown food festival is here, and it’s downright delectable.
Bombay Local, put together by Small Fry Co., is everything a food festival should be, and more. It’s a fundamentally extravagant affair, so let’s get into it.
With over 60 food stalls – restaurants, caterers, home cooks, pastry chefs, culinary artists and artisans, you name it – coupled with other amazing elements to heighten the experience such as the “Lifestyle Bazaar”, a cultural mini-market encompassing fashion, art and a collaboration of the city’s culture, there’s no room for disinterest here.
The festival will also showcase Lakme Fashion Week Designer, Salita Nanda’s pop-up style studio for the first time, Tangerine Arts Studio’s pop-up with a variety of workshops ranging from cooking to dance and CosmiKids Tent, “a colorful world in which children are free to think, dream, create and explore will have a variety of activities”.
With a cocktail bar that includes DIY drink buckets (!!), beer on tap and an eclectic range of wines, what more could you ask for? The Little Free Library will also hold a book exchange at the festival, so come prepared.
Join their event on Facebook for more details and ticket info. We look forward to seeing you there, folks. Happy eating!
