Watch out for this young talent! You will be hearing a lot of him in the months to come!
What started off as a hobby at the age of 8 led to something really massive for this young Indian star – he became the first Indian to be selected at ‘Ministry of Sound’. Spinning the Indian nightlife with his own mixes and compilations, this new face in the town mastered his skills under renowned international artists like Andy Woods, Jamie Griffiths and Chris Finke while he was in London.
Very soon Aaryan became a regular at Ministry of Sound’s The Box and The 103 Rooms and even Mayfair clubs like Whiskey Mist, Maddox and The Rose Club. After playing one of the gigs in London, he received a call from the prestigious music production institute – Point Blank Music College and was chosen to pursue the ‘Full DJ Course’ along with ‘Music Production & Business Diploma’. It was here that Aaryan mastered the art of DJing, music production, music composition, music business, sound design and sound engineering.
After releasing his own tracks in London, Aaryan Gala has returned to India to take the nation by storm with the launch and release of his first single ‘Animated Love’ which is a collaboration with The Atom’s Theory under RYN Records, his own record label. The progressive house track has a 128 BPM rate, and consists of beautiful instrumentation and melodious chord structure. The EP consists of three versions of the track: original, extended and radio edit.
On October 25th Animated Love released worldwide on over 70 online stores including iTunes, Spotify, Beatport and others. Animated Love will also be the first Indian stop-motion+animation music video. It is shot in some of the most intriguing and unexplored locations of Mumbai & Goa.
So what was the inspiration behind the name of the track? Well, it is dedicated to all the couples in love who keep their love lives animated all the time. Aaryan personally met several couples who shared their experiences with him. Just like a relationship, the track too has its ups and downs in the form of progressions and drops.
For the next couple of years, Aaryan plans to play at some of the major festivals across the world and go on releasing music. Here’s wishing good luck to Aaryan Gala for his forthcoming ventures!
Right after the launch of Animated Love – EP Aaryan Gala’s Asia Tour for 2013 kicks off. It will be a 6-city India tour including cities like Mumbai, Goa, Bangalore, Pune, Goa and Hyderabad. Post tour, Aaryan also plans to visit Bangkok, Durban, Johannesburg and Singapore for shows.
