In a really unfortunate and horribly awry situation, a man in Nevada was shot dead by policemen after his minivan lunged towards a police officer and then crashed intoΒ the crowded chicken wing festival.
It all started when the police unsuccessfully tried to stop the white minivan while on the road. The van headed further downtown and attempted to ram into the barricade of Wing Fest, the chicken wing festival. The minivan swerved towards a police officer standing there and crashed into a vendor’s car, after which the same policeman shot at the man.
Witnesses allegedly heard several gunshots from the scene. The victim hasn’t been identified yet.
The Wing Fest attracts 80,000 people a year, with over 20 vendors.
Thankfully, no onlookers were injured in any way. People should be more careful in the future, to avoid gory incidents like this.
